LIM Lyhong obtained a LLD degree from the Graduate School of Law, Nagoya University, Japan in May, 2018.
In 2006, he was selected, by American Field Service (AFS) program of Japan, as a representative of Cambodian high school students to Nagaoka city, Niigata prefecture, Japan, where he lived with a Japanese host family and went to a high school.
In 2008, he graduated from Boeung Trabek high school and went to Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in the same year. There, he also learnt both Japanese and Japanese law at the Research and Education Center (名古屋大学日本法教育研究センター, CJL)established by Nagoya University. He graduated from RULE and CJL in 2012 and continued his study as a research student at Nagoya University till 2013.
In 2015, he got a Master’s degree of Law (Modern Law) from Nagoya University. Also in 2015, he participated in The Blue Star of Life (TBSL) project as a Cambodian student representative and made a speech at the United Nations Office at Geneva to appeal to the world for the environmental protection and world peace.
